Teen Patti rules: a beginner’s reference

Start with the named rules and a complete turn record.

Our baseline

This learning site uses Pagat’s published Teen Patti description, checked 16 October 2026. It is a reference convention rather than a rulebook for every Indian group or app.

The basic outline

Use a 52-card pack and deal three cards each. Turns proceed clockwise; players continue or fold. One remaining player wins, or two remaining players may reach a permitted Show.

Read by topic

Use the Blind and Seen, Chaal, Show and Side Show pages for the conditions that affect the next action. Keep the reference visible while reading.

Learn without stakes

Use paper examples and status labels to understand the procedure. This website does not run a game or accept payments.

A useful question

Describe who remains, whose turn it is, who has looked and what action is proposed. If a detail is unknown, label it before looking for a ruling.
